Hoy comentamos un complemento muy útil de Firefox. Las redes sociales permiten interactuar cada día más con gente de otros países. Aunque lo recomendable es aprender esos idiomas y practicar, hay veces que no nos enteramos de lo que nos dicen.
Este complemento fácilmente instalable permite traducir el texto en el navegador (tanto cosas en Facebook como en cualquier otra página) usando Google translator. Sólamente tenemos que seleccionar el texto deseado, darle botón derecho y elegir “Translate this text using google translator”.
En facebook además añade la opción de “Traducir” junto a las de compartir etc:
Para que funcione bien antes hay que ir a Herramientas, Complementos, seleccionar el módulo y en Opciones decirle el idioma de destino. Por cierto que también puede usarse para traducir lo que has escrito tu a otro idioma de destino. Sincreamente, útil y sencillo, como tiene que ser.

This add-on for Firefox manages this beautifully. Once installed you only have to go to Tools, Addons, select the app and in Options choose the language you want to translate the text into.
After that select any text on a web page (FB included), right click and choose “Translate this text using google translator”…AND DONE! It can also be used to translate what you write and even adds an option “Translate” beside the share and Like buttons in Facebook.
Easy and useful, as it should be!
